About Alisha Taylor

Grand Prix dressage rider and accomplished event rider Alisha Taylor has decades of experience training, judging, and competing eventers, hunters, jumpers, and dressage horses. She has extensive experience thoughtfully starting young horses and retraining difficult and problem horses.

Early in her career, Alisha worked with the United States Combined Training Team as a groom at the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico and the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. During that time, the U.S. team won team gold medals as well as individual gold and silver medals.

As a working student for accomplished dressage trainers, Alisha gained extensive experience in both dressage and eventing while competing through the levels. She then began teaching and training, and as more riders sought her help, built a career dedicated to teaching, training, and judging.

With experience spanning dressage, eventing, hunters, and jumpers, Alisha's broad background allows her to thoughtfully approach training in a way that is unique to each horse and rider. She continues to share her knowledge and experience with riders of all levels, and is still loving it all.
